Without a doubt, Paige is one of the most popular female superstars in WWE history. It was unfortunate that a talented name like her was forced to announce retirement due to a neck injury. After the likes of Edge and Daniel Bryan have made a comeback from similar injuries, she is hoping to follow in their footsteps. Per the recent updates, the former WWE diva might be on the verge of a return.

But a former WWE writer has an unfair set of words to warn her. Being forced to retire from pro-wrestling after picking up a severe concussion caused a devastating situation and the writer does want Paige to stay in that way if she wants to avoid any kind of critical medical condition in the future.

Paige Is One Bump Away From Wheelchair, Says WWE Veteran 1

Veteran Vince Russo appeared on Dr. Chris Featherstone‘s podcast, to make a point about Paige’s case. His advice was simple for the youngest reigning Divas Champion of the WWE and that to never lace-up that boots, ever again.

“The fact that all of them decide to get back in that ring, Chris, when all it takes is one mistake, one miscalculation, one green guy, one bump taken wrong. Bro, you are one bump away from a wheelchair… if you’re lucky, if you’re lucky, one bump away. That’s how close you are.”

Vince Russo has a simple advice for Paige

Russo also spoke about Paige’s other recent associations and advised her to stay away from professional wrestling. It should be noted that leaked Twitch data has recently revealed that Paige almost made half a million ($478,224) from September 2019 to September 2021. Hence, Russo said that she should continue making money from it,

“In this case, I don’t know what’s going through Paige’s mind, but here’s what would be going through my mind. ‘I was lucky, I was lucky [not to suffer even worse injuries in wrestling]. Do I want to roll the dice a second time when I don’t need to?’ That’s what I’d be weighing if I were her.”

Paige recently dropped a movie poster for her Fighting With My Family movie made by The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions around her WWE career. She also included the Divas Title hanging on her wall in the background to tease that she has already started preparations for an in-ring comeback. Only time will tell whether she can make a successful comeback, down the road.
