The uncertain status of Paige with the WWE has been a matter of discussion for professional wrestling fans in recent times. Given the popularity of the UK native, fans genuinely hoped that WWE would find a way to keep her under their banner by any means especially given the fact that an in-ring return is expected. However, that’s not the case.
Paige has confirmed that she will be leaving the WWE within a month from now. The former two-time WWE Divas Champion took to Twitter to announce that she’ll be parting ways with the WWE when her contract expires on July 7. Nothing much regarding the deal was noted but the female superstar did express her gratitude toward the WWE Universe for all the lovely memories.

“July 7th will be the last day with WWE. I’m so thankful and I appreciate the opportunities that the company has given me,” Paige noted in her statement.
“I will always be appreciative of the company that took in an 18-year-old British pale emo girl that didn’t look like your average diva, giving me the chance of a lifetime and making me feel like a superstar.
I know after my neck injury took me out of in-ring status, it was pretty hard to keep me around for as long as you did, and for that, I’m thankful too.”

The bright part of the announcement was that Paige indicated that an in-ring return will most likely be happening in a due course, wherever it may be. Moving on from the WWE, Paige had to let go of her in-ring name as she intends to go by the name of Saraya Knight that was given by her mother.
Paige had featured in different roles in WWE
The anti-Diva of the WWE Paige was last seen in a wrestling capacity at a live event on December 27, 2017, where she suffered an injury in a six-woman tag match. She would then officially announce her in-ring retirement due to a neck injury, the night after Wrestlemania 34, four years later at the same venue where she made her grand WWE main roster debut.
Since her retirement, Paige has played several roles for the WWE both on and off-screen. She is often helmed as the best General Manager of SmackDown history which was her immediate role following her retirement. Then she also acted as a short-term manager for the Asuka and Kairi Sane, aka The Kabuki Warriors before becoming a co-host of WWE Backstage on FS2.
