Paige and WWE’s association has lasted for over a decade. After performing all around the UK indie scene, it was WWE who introduced her to the global fame through NXT and then the main roster. Now, all good things have to come to an end and there’s nothing different in this case.

As announced by Paige, earlier this month, her tenure with the company will finish on July 2nd as the signed deal will be ending. WWE has decided not to renew her contract when it expires in early July and thus she becomes a free agent for the first time since 2011. Back then, she used to be just a teenager.

One of the major issues around WWE not signing Paige for a further tenure could be due to the fact that she isn’t medically cleared to wrestle inside the squared circle. For the past few months, she did claim to be back in action, overcoming the neck concussions but nothing, in particular, was revealed about the situation.

Paige wanted opinions from fans about her next destination

Moving on, Paige has now teased about her future whereabouts as she took to Twitter to ask her fans a very important question, “Where do you guys wanna see me next??”

Mickie James had an interesting answer to the question by saying, “in my dreams.” Madison Rayne has replied saying that she knows a place. Since both these two are associated with the Impact Wrestling Knockouts division, possibly the soon-to-be-former WWE Superstar could end up being there. At the same time, many of the fans want her to move to All Elite Wrestling, of course.

For the time being, Paige is booked to appear at the Starrcast V fan fest at the end of July in Nashville, Tennessee, where she will be part of a meet and greet and her own panel show. This will be her first post-WWE appearance.

The two-time WWE Divas Champion started with the WWE in 2011 at the age of just 19. She would go on to become the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion and then the youngest WWE Divas Champion during her first match on Monday Night Raw 2014. Four years later, at the same venue, she was forced to declare her retirement due to a neck injury picked up at a WWE house show in December 2017.
