ToggleFollowing the most successful Summerslam of all time, WWE will present Payback 2023 early next month. No official match or storyline is yet to be booked for the PLE but the rumors have it that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be out of action as he mostly enjoys a limited schedule in the company.
While things can certainly change in due course, the present situation suggests that the other top attraction of the WWE, Brock Lesnar will also not be onboard for Payback 2023 edition. Previous reports from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer stated that Brock Lesnar is advertised for the PLE,
“He’s advertised for Payback, so maybe that’s when he comes back. I was told he’ll be gone for a while, but not a long while. So, we’ll have to see what that means.”
Summerslam 2023: WWE Premium Live Event Gathers Several Records
Brock Lesnar won’t be available for Payback 2023
Following the suggestion of the source regarding WWE’s top box office attraction’s status for Payback 2023, it’s now been revealed that he’s not listed as one of the Superstars to perform at the show.
Ringside News reached out to confirm Brock Lesnar’s status for Payback 2023 set for September 3rd and was told by a tenured member of the team that Brock Lesnar will not be competing on that show. He’s just coming off a three-match trilogy with Cody Rhodes to put over the latter one in a great way. It seems that he won’t be rushing to make his way back for another feud until the next Saudi Arabia show arrives.
