At least her recent release from the WWE led Lacey Evans to the news headlines for once in her career. As much as it seems unreal, WWE was never fully capable of utilizing this talent to her full potential. Despite having a suitable launch in 2019, things fell flat for her which eventually became worse to lead up to the exit.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Lacey Evans is indeed no longer involved with the WWE, following the company moving her to the alumni section. It was noted that she was not released from her contract. Rather, she let her WWE contract expire, as the two sides were not able to come to an agreement for a new deal.
The writing team did not have access to Lacey Evans as she was long gone from the creative perspective of the WWE on the blue brand. The good thing about her release is that she won’t be having a no-contact clause attached to her as she wasn’t released. That being said, the former Sassy Southern Belle could debut to a rival promotion of the WWE whenever she wants to.
Lacey Evans has quite a few options for a career following WWE departure
When it comes to future plans, Bryan Alvarez noted during Wrestling Observer Radio that Lacey Evans has already opened up a diner. She is no longer with WWE, and that will allow her to get involved in so many projects. Being a poser on social media, the blonde head should be a regular name on OnlyFans or other websites to share content.
Lacey Evans had her best WWE phase in 2019
Originally, Lacey Evans was signed with the WWE in April 2016 and was assigned to its developmental territory, NXT. She began training at the WWE Performance Center where she caught the attention of fans and critics with the “Lady of NXT” persona. Her elegant attire and appearance set her apart from other wrestlers which also dragged her to the main roster sooner than later.
In 2019, Lacey Evans made her debut on the WWE main roster. Her first match was that year’s Royal Rumble match while her first solo match took place at Money in the Bank of that year where she went up against the then Raw/Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. A few weeks later, she also main-evented Extreme Rules 2019 PPV which was the greatest accomplishment of her WWE career.
