Going by the reports, it may very well be possible that WWE may finally pull the trigger on the title reign of Kofi Kingston that started back at WrestleMania 35. The time has come that he drops the belt to Brock Lesnar who is a marquee attraction on TV under any circumstances. He should be a major attraction on Friday Nights, moving forward.

Brad Pitt Comments On Potentially Wrestling In WWE One Day

According to the Wrestling Observer, FOX wants a ‘sports feel’ on SmackDown. This is why WWE booked Brock Lesnar (who is the most legitimate athlete in WWE) in the main event of the first SmackDown on FOX. This man used to be in the same spotlight on FOX during his prime in UFC. So the officials would be pleased to get the Beast Incarnate onboard. Plus, the plan must be to put on the WWE title on Lesnar as early as possible. This should happen on October 4th.

Another reason for demanding Brock Lesnar on SmackDown is the fact that FOX did not have Ronda Rousey on the show, right now. She could be another mainstream sports athlete to benefit the show to a huge extent. But since her ‘impregnation vacation’ is still not over, we can’t expect him to be back, sooner. So The Conqueror remained as the only option to fill the void.

Apart from the recent reports, during the recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray talked about the upcoming bout between Kofi Kingston and Brock Lesnar. He went on to discuss that Lesnar is the perfect-most fitting option for them. Here’s more on what the WWE Hall of Famer stated on this matter, (courtesy sescoops.com)

“Brock’s name is known by people who might not be wrestling fans, Brock should bring a lot of eyes to this show on Friday, he’s the biggest name, and that’s why they’re going with him. And Brock as your champion is what’s best for business right now, with your show going to FOX.”
