ToggleRandy Orton is a bonafide future WWE Hall of Famer who has already enjoyed a two-decade-long career in the company. But he admittedly still has enough gas left in the tank to carry the WWE forward for one more decade. However, it’s not easy to do so given how physical the wrestling business can be. The third-generation superstar did accomplish everything a superstar can ask in his career but it came at the expense of his body.
For a long time, Randy Orton is out of action with injury and many believed that Wrestlemania 39 season could be a suitable time for him to make a return. But if the recent reports are to be considered then chances are pretty less that we will see the veteran superstar finding her way back to the WWE programming, after all.

WWE doctors yet to clear Orton
According to the reports of The Wrestling Blog, WWE’s medical team hasn’t cleared Orton to return to in-ring action yet, as of last week,

Orton previously rumored to be involved at Wrestlemania
This comes as a contradictory update from an early update via the Pro-Wrestling Bootmaker Jose G Sanz who revealed on Facebook that Randy Orton has contacted him to make a new set of boots for his return to WWE. Below is what he offered in his story (translated from Spanish),
“I haven’t made them yet but Randy Orton contacted me via email for his return. Currently, Drew McIntyre and Bray Wyatt are some of the biggest superstars. Today I received an order for boots for Cody (Rhodes) for WrestleMania.”

Randy Orton absent from WWE programming since last summer
As noted above, the 14-Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton has been dealing with a back injury. Due to this, he hasn’t wrestled since May 2022. He was written off WWE programming after a vicious storyline assault by Roman Reigns and his Bloodline allies.
Afterward, The Viper had to undergo surgery that resulted in the original plan for the SummerSlam 2022 main event getting canceled where the sidelined Superstar would have challenged for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship held by Reigns.
Since then we haven’t spotted Randy Orton on WWE TV. Most recently, he made an appearance to meet some fans in his home-town of St. Louis. Although the wrestling legend looked to be in a jacked shape, his return will still have to wait, it appears.
