Every week as the cameras stop rolling after WWE’s flagship show on Monday Night after Raw or in Smackdown tapings on Tuesday, WWE keeps something bonus for the crowd to send them home happily. Known as the dark segment, WWE conducts non-storyline matches or segments to give something bonus to the viewers.
This week too saw no exception and a huge fight took place after WWE Raw went off the air and thus gave the fans taste of a dream match where the team of John Cena and Roman Reigns took on the team of Seth Rollins and AJ Styles. Cena worked hard for the entire portion of the match and the faces stood tall to finish the segment by giving a beat down to the Club and Seth Rollins.
On WWE Smackdown too, WWE had in store a huge segment to make the final build-up for Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Though, both the champion i.e. Roman Reigns and the challenger Seth Rollins was absent from the main show tapings, they did work for the dark segment. After Smackdown went off the air, The Club attacked Dean Ambrose and delivered a vicious beat-down to him. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion ran down to the ring to make the save. Roman and Dean worked together and fought against the Club to outnumber them but the night did not end well for them.

The opportunist Seth Rollins took a perfect opportunity to send a strong message to his former Shield brethren by putting them down. When it seemed Roman and Dean would prevail, “The Man” made a blind side attack to the champion from behind and stood tall to end the show. Now, what’s more, interesting in this dark segment is that the whole arena went crazy when Roman Reigns entered the arena to save the day for Dean Ambrose. It was louder cheer for him rather than boos. The Shield reunion must have paid off and a portion of the crowd is backing the champion for his title defense on Sunday.
