Renee Paquette fka Renee Young in the WWE had built a reputation of being a calm and composed character in the professional wrestling circuit. She didn’t have any whatsoever knowledge of pro wrestling before entering the WWE in 2012. But with her dedication and knowledge, she managed to become one of the most popular figures in her WWE career and is now in AEW.
It was in the WWE locker room that Renee Paquette met her husband Jon Moxley then known as Dean Ambrose. Due to the PG era of the WWE, we have seen was a toned-down version of Moxley who’s no stranger to doing things in a hardcore way during his matches. Before entering the WWE, he competed in several matches filled with blood.
The real-life Jonathan David Good was able to go back to his previous vicious persona after leaving the previously Vince McMahon-led promotion in 2019. After going to the AEW, the company allowed Mox to embrace his previous identity and that’s to keep things non-PG by hurting himself and his opponents to be covered with blood.
Renee Paquette hates seeing Mox covered with blood
This is one obvious aspect that doesn’t sit well with his wife Renee Paquette. The gorgeous face was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio, where she discussed some of Moxley’s in-ring antics. She doesn’t like Mox to be covered with blood while she is also grossed out by her husband licking the blood of his opponents,
“Yeah, certainly there’s times where I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ Like, I am preparing the text to send to him for when he walks back to the locker room after the match of just like, ‘Please, stop licking people’s blood.’ Like, the stuff on the outside on the apron. Some of these things I wanna get up his a** about.”
Renee Paquette will continue to appear on AEW programming as a backstage interviewer. Moxley, the only three-time AEW World Champion lost his belt to MJF at the AEW Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view event on Saturday, November 19th. Before losing the title, Mox achieved an incredible milestone that night as he surpassed Kenny Omega’s record for the longest combined days of reign as AEW World Champion.
