Renee Young made fame for herself while also setting up a benchmark for female wrestling journalists during her tenure. After working for eight years, she parted ways with the company back in the Summer of 2020. After FOX canceled the WWE Backstage amid the COVID-19 pandemic, she left the company which surprised most of the WWE fans.

Without a doubt, the diva, real-name Renee Paquette used to be a familiar face on WWE programming and her presence is missed, to date. Under the moniker of Renee Young, she fulfilled her role in the strongest way possible. Now that she had parted ways with the WWE, there could be a lot of opportunities waiting for her at AEW and outside the pro-wrestling world.

Renee Young talked about getting strange DMs
In an interview with The MackMania Podcast, Renee Young was asked whether she still receives strange DM’s when using Twitter. She came up with a positive answer due to quality filters on social media. It doesn’t allow her to be going through DMs much as only a few selected DM’s appear in her inbox.
“I feel like I have had my quality filters on all of social media for so long that I kind of don’t see it that much anymore,” Renee Young said. “I also don’t go through my DMs. Like, I only see the ones from the people that I follow or if it’s someone with a blue checkmark or something. But otherwise, I don’t really see them. That is great peace of mind.”
Renee on opening OnlyFans account
Renee Young then proceeded to answer if she would like to open an account on the OnlyFans service, like various wrestling personalities, including former WWE star Toni Storm have done in recent times. The Canadian journalist stated that she doesn’t believe that this place belongs to her since she doesn’t like to go for a skin-showing.
“I don’t feel like my personality necessarily gels with that,” Renee Young admitted. “Like, I don’t know. I think for the people that it works for, hell yeah. Get out there, make that money. Do the thing that makes you happy, by all means.
I just think if all of a sudden, I signed up for OnlyFans, people would be like, ‘no, I think I’m good.’ I don’t think I want you to see that. I don’t think that people need that sexier side of me. Also, it’s like, I don’t know. There’s like a goofiness to me. Me doing, like, a legit sexy photo, I’m like sweating right now thinking about it. No one needs it.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestling Inc)
