Renee Young used to be one of the most popular names in the WWE locker room despite the fact that she wasn’t an in-ring performer. Her charming personality and glamorous presence on TV handed her a global fanbase. Her stint with the Total Divas reality TV show has also helped build her popularity.
After being an integral part of the WWE family for eight years, Renee Young opted to leave the company back in the summer of 2020. She wanted to get rid of the WWE after FOX’s WWE Backstage show was canceled. Things had become monotonous for her in the company and she didn’t want to work, there, anymore.

Renee Young Possibly Felt ‘Undervalued’ During Her Time With The WWE
Renee Young praises the fun aspect of AEW locker room
While speaking on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Renee Young talked about her time in AEW in which she’s been well-settled since her debut. In her opinion, things are far different than they used to be in the WWE. It’s good for her to attend a wrestling show and have fun with all her colleagues and of course, with her husband, the three-time AEW World Heavyweight Champion, Jon Moxley.
“I’m so used to being a wrestling show and working and being busy and being useful,” Renee Young stated.
“So to be there and just be hanging out was a little off for me, but now that I’m actually in there and working—it’s funny I feel like my first day—because normally when I’m there I’m just kind of like hanging with Jon [Moxley], I’m kind of following him around seeing what he’s doing. But now I’m like ‘deuces, see you at the end of the day.’”
Renee Young had a fun interview with MJF
Apart from being part of a verbal encounter between Saraya and Britt Baker, Renee Young interviewed MJF about his upcoming match with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, also her real-life husband. During the interaction, he rudely told the interview host to shut her mouth and that part was apparently liked by her. Apparently, this is the fun thing about being a part of a wrestling show like AEW Dynamite.
