Review & Twitter Reactions From This Week’s Smackdown Live: November 6, 2018

Smackdown Live kicked off in an expected way with Paige and Shane McMahon inside the ring. The Manchester crowd was raucous letting know their presence felt on the show. Interestingly, they were booing Shane McMahon and sheering The Miz. This incidentally helped The Miz to become the co-captain for Survivor Series alongside Daniel Bryan. We only hope that these two can co-exist on the same team to ensure a win for Team Blue.

It is always great to see The New Day and The Usos in a matchup. They have been in perhaps uncountable matches but still, they bring a lot of fresh energy to the picture. Last night was no different as they went back and forth to deliver a solid opening contest. The Usos became the team captain for the Smackdown division, rightfully. We expect a packed team from Team Blue side on the next week’s edition.

Becky Lynch can’t do anything wrong at this moment. She has been an asset to the WWE Smackdown brand, lately. Whatever she is doing right now is turning out to be pure gold. That promo on Ronda Rousey was just more than good and worthy enough to earn her a win at Survivor Series. It was also nice to see Nikki Cross showing up in her home country. But the champion prevailed, ultimately.

Smackdown women’s team declaration by Paige for Survivor Series became chaotic courtesy of Mandy Rose. Ironically, whatever trash came out of her mouth about the female roster members, were very much true. We have really forgotten Asuka who used to be the most relevant name of the roster at the beginning of 2018. It will be good to see Mandy Rose getting her due push via this promo ahead of Survivor Series.

The Survivor Series qualifying matches on Smackdown were solid. This was the first time that Rey Mysterio and Andrade Cien Almas competed on WWE TV. Hardy and Joe’s match was also a decent one completing the men’s division lineup. The confusion began at the very end of the show when Bryan attacked Miz and Shane McMahon. Perhaps, it was a teasing of Daniel Bryan turning heel and face-turn for The Miz.

Well, that ended this edition of Smackdown Live on a pretty interesting note. Here are the Twitter reactions from a decent show in Manchester,
