In the latest, Rhea Ripley took to her social media account to share the news of her engagement to Buddy Matthews fka Buddy Murphy in WWE. By posting a heartwarming photo on Instagram that showcased her engagement ring, she declared to be saying yes to the marriage proposal given by her partner, “1000x YES! Pure Fu**ing happiness!”

In the photo, Rhea Ripley was seen kissing her fiancé on the cheek, while showing off the new engagement ring that appears to be a single-stone set on a black band. This particular band resembles the dark personalities that the respective Judgment Day and House of Black factions symbolize on WWE and AEW TV, as of late. Names like Bayley, Maxxine Dupri, Roxanne Perez, Bronson Reed, and more congratulated the couple on the announcement.
It should be noted that Rhea Ripley has been in an on-screen relationship with her “Papi” and Judgment Day cohort Dominik Mysterio. But in the meantime, she and Murphy have been together since early 2022 going by their social media posts. This engagement post is the first time that they acknowledge each other as partners in public.

On the other hand, Buddy Matthews has found success since going into AEW after leaving the WWE. Currently, he is one-third of the AEW Trios Champions, along with Malakai Black and Brody King.
Rhea Ripley last appeared on this week’s NXT to receive a Black Mass from Lyra Valkyria to set up a future showdown. An irate Nightmare stated the following regarding her payback on the former NXT UK star,
“As for Lyra Valkyria, I came here and told everyone she was a badass,” Ripley said. “I believed in her, I gave her some advice, and what does she do? She disrespects me and my Latino Heat … You don’t want to make Mami mad. And that’s exactly what she has done.”
