The last time it happened was when Stephanie McMahon featured in a title match along with Kurt Angle and Triple H and came up short. Even before that, Fabulous Moolah also went for the top belt in sports entertainment but remained unsuccessful.

If somehow, Rhea Ripley challenges for the WWE World Heavyweight Title then she would break the record held by Stephanie McMahon. The former Smackdown Women’s Champion has taken out many male WWE Superstars in the recent past, including the likes of Luke Gallows, Akira Tozawa, and even her on-screen boyfriend Dominik. So, she’s certainly capable of competing in matches with male superstars.
Rhea Ripley is more than interested in intergender wrestling in the WWE
While speaking on The Battleground Podcast, Rhea Ripley was asked whether she does have any interest in competing for the men’s division titles in WWE and she came up with a positive response to make her intentions clear,
“It would be awesome [to compete for a male championship]. It definitely would be awesome. I’m down for it. I 110% would be down for it. Obviously, we don’t know what the future holds, and I don’t know how well intergender wrestling is gonna go within the WWE in general, with the networks and all of that, but if it would ever be a possibility, my name is at the top of the line. It has to be.”
