WWE star and former WWE Raw Women’s champion Rhea Ripley who is also a former NXT Women’s champion and a former NXT UK Women’s champion recently talked about her shift towards being a heel.

Rhea Ripley had been a tremendous heel in the NXT and her gimmick is quite good for an evil character. She has mostly worked as a loner throughout her professional wrestling career but she has a gimmick to lead stables. A stable behind her would have been an amazing thing to see but the way WWE is going right now, we believe there is no chance of seeing it.

Rhea Ripley Wants To Turn Heel

But in the main roster her gimmick had remained more or less a little confusing. When she first made her main roster debut It looked like she is a heel. But suddenly WWE demanded she is a babyface, and they did not care to explain it how. Everything looked really confusing and since then she is playing a babyface gimmick and she is doing quite good.

At this moment she is not involved in any storyline. She was however involved in a storyline with Nikki ASH which looks to be over by now and it has been completely dominated by Ripley. At this moment she does not have any storyline and since WrestleMania is edging closer, it looks like she will miss this year’s Mania.

There was rumours that she would go on to face Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania but that chance is gone by for good as well. It is Bianca Belair who is going to face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. Reently, she turned on her partner Liv Morgan and it looked like this might mark her heel turn.

Rhea Ripley who is also a former NXT Women’s champion and a former NXT UK Women’s champion recently spoke to My Love Letter To Wrestling where she talked about her shift towards being a heel. She said;

“We have this thing called car wash where you take all the photos and videos, leading up to the Mae Young Classic, so we get all the footage we need. I sort of walked up in this new gear.

“I got my haircut, but I (showed up) in this new hear and one of the coaches was like, ‘What’s this?’ ‘The new Rhea Ripley, and I’m a heel.’ ‘Okay,’ and I knew that ‘okay’ was like, ‘this is your ass if it doesn’t work.’”
