Without a doubt, Rhea Ripley has been built to become one of the top female Superstars in the WWE for the future. After all, a few can claim to have scored a title match win in her main roster debut, and that too at the grandest stage of them all. Back at last year’s Wrestlemania, she accomplished the same by defeating Asuka and thus clinching her first Raw Women’s Championship.
She had already made a name for herself in NXT before being called up to the main roster as a former NXT Women’s Champion and an NXT UK Women’s Champion. The belief was that she would be one of the mainstays of the main roster but things changed in due course. Rhea Ripley lost her Raw Women’s Title at Money in the Bank to Charlotte Flair and got downgraded.

For sure, she managed to pick up the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships but her strong status was no more intact. While speaking with Busted Open Radio, Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young in WWE) talked about Rhea Ripley’s current status on Monday Night RAW. Paquette stated that she couldn’t believe someone like her could get lost in the shuffle.

“Can you believe that’s the thing though, can you believe that’s a thing for Rhea Ripley. I can’t believe it. She’s incredible, she’s just like this perfect package that is ready to go. Previously, while speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said that Rhea Ripley can be a huge draw from the Women’s Division, similar to what Hulk Hogan was back in the day. So it’s up to WWE creative team to make good use of the 23-year-old superstar especially at a time when they’re at a lack of top talents in the female roster.
Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. were rivals as both competed for the RAW Women’s Championship for several months last year. They eventually put their differences aside became WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. But since they’ve gone separate ways, it’s perhaps safe to believe that, a solo push to Ripley is up in the near future.
