A new championship match has been announced for WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2022. During last night’s NXT episode, it was announced that WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction will defend against Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta.
Toxic Attraction has been feuding with Pirotta, Hartwell, and Kay Lee Ray for the past few weeks now. Last week, Toxic Attraction digested a loss in a six-woman match to these three Superstars. Then Jayne and Dolin noted in a promo that they’ll be defending their titles at WWE NXT Vengeance Day.
This week’s show also featured KLR kidnapping Jayne and Dolin in an SUV. She came back to the arena but the tag champs weren’t with her. KLR then stalked NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose around the WWE Performance Center, pursuing her for a title match opportunity. Using her baseball bat. KLR scared the champ to agree to a title match.

The show ended with KLR saying she didn’t want to wait until WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2022 on February 15, so the KLR vs. Rose match was announced for next Tuesday’s episode, instead. Rose wanted to get rid of KLR by granting the title shot. But, KLR superkick-ed her in the face and followed up with the KLR Bomb, anyway in the closing moments of the show.
WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2022 will mark the first title defense for Dolin and Jayne since capturing the belts by defeating Pirotta and Hartwell, and former champions Io Shirai and Zoey Stark in a Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc on November 9. As for Rose, she successfully defended her Women’s Title in a Triple Threat at NXT New Year’s Evil in the first episode of January.
