But then the WWE Officials decided not to go in a hurry with this feud featuring a top babyface vs. top heel and give it proper time in the post-WrestleMania season.

McIntyre was also initially doubted to be on the Road to Wrestlemania 38 due to an injury. But he returned from his neck issues within just a month and competed in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He was also the last man eliminated in the match by the winner Brock Lesnar.
He is now scheduled to face Madcap Moss in a Day 1 rematch at Elimination Chamber who might very well end up facing Happy Corbin at WrestleMania 38.
