Roman Reigns is perhaps the most dominant champion of the modern era with the longest reign by his name. As the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, his reign of terror is lasting longer than expected and it may continue for more years to follow. He has put down every single opponent who stood before him to unleash the God-mode.
But Roman Reigns has also recently hinted that he may step away from wrestling during a recent WWE live event. The show that took place this past weekend in Trenton witnessed the WWE and Universal Champion giving a speech to the crowd in attendance. He gave a hint that his current WWE run may be coming to an end sooner than expected because he’s starting a “new phase” in his life and career.

“I’ve been here a couple of times in the past 10 years,” Roman Reigns stated. “I’m starting to work into a new phase in my career, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back here again. If that’s the case, I just wanna say thank you for all these years of support.”

Roman Reigns could be heading to Hollywood
During the WWE Trenton Saturday Night’s Main Event, Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre in a singles match. But it was his comments after the match which have mostly been discussed by the fans. The speculations are running rampant whether he is moving away from the WWE or professional wrestling in the near future.
Speaking to The Town last month, WWE President Nick Khan hinted at a transition to Hollywood for Roman Reigns.
“We think he’s certainly up there,” Khan said. “We have big plans to help him cross over, which we think will be great for him, and certainly great to do with him.”
Roman has himself has also expressed interest in a Hollywood career at some point in the future following the footsteps of his cousin, The Rock. In November 2021, The Tribal Chief also told The Michael Kay Show that it’s where he wants to land after hanging up the boots. Perhaps, he was reiterating the same phrase during the bygone live event.
