One of the best matches of Clash of Champions pay-per-view featured Roman Reigns facing Erick Rowan in a No DQ match. It was an out-and-out brawl between the two superstars that ended in favor of the heel. Harper appeared out of nowhere to help his former Tag Team partner, Rowan and thereby helped him to pick up the win. It was perhaps the biggest win of his career as he defeated a former Universal Champion.

But the audience was not talking about that after the match as they were busy analyzing the shocking return of Harper targeting Roman Reigns. There were reports on the Internet suggesting that he was in a contractual dispute with the WWE that may not allow him to come back, soon. But that was not the case as the company brought the former Intercontinental Champion, earlier than expected and that too against Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns Clears Air Whether His Leukemia Battle Was Scripted
As of now, the current plan is to let him insert in a full-fledged feud against the poster boy of the company. This must produce a huge match as the next pay-per-view event inches closer. The speculation is that a big tag team match is looming in with an unexpected lineup. The Bludgeon Brothers are likely to reunite again for a match against the most unlikely duo from the SmackDown roster.

As per reports from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Harper and Rowan will take on Roman Reigns and Rowan’s former tag team partner Daniel Bryan. Meltzer didn’t reveal when the tag match between the four would take place. But many have speculated on the bout must happen at WWE’s next Pay Per View, Hell in a Cell.
The pay-per-view will air live on October 6th, from the Golden 1 Center, in Sacramento, California. Initially, the belief was that Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan will become official for the WWE Network special considering these two were heading into a feud. But if this match happens, then there could be a drastic change in the storyline as the creative team will be able to fool the fans and sources.
They were able to do the same with Harper’s appearance at Clash Of Champions, too. According to PWInsider.com, WWE hid Harper in a separate locker room until he came out on the show hitting Roman Reigns with a big boot. Most of the superstars got to know about his presence on TV and marked out. He got to get along with the other locker room members only after the show was over.
