Stone Cold Steve Austin was back on WWE programming for a couple of times, in this year. First, it was the occasion of Monday Night Raw reunion that had him in the host’s role. Later, he also showed up on the grand return of WWE to the Madison Square Garden arena in New York for TV taping after a long gap of almost a decade. In a recent conversation, the legend wanted to do more of such appearances.
Why Didn’t The Fiend Attack Stone Cold On WWE Raw?
Starrcade 2019 Officially Announced On WWE Network
The Texas Rattlesnake is not able to wrestle anymore due to a neck injury that forced him to retire. But he’s willing to show up to RAW and have some fun. If WWE asks him to put someone over in the meantime, then he won’t be backing down, for sure. Now that must be pleasing news for the WWE audience who can expect to see more of Stone Cold Steve Austin soon.

The former WWE Champion recently talked with TV Insider to discuss the process of setting up an angle with WWE. He’s been out of WWE storylines for a while now, but he wished to come back and help whatever way he can at this point in his career. This is good news for all the fresh talents on the roster, as well. Check out his words, (courtesy ringsidenews.com)
“Not everything is last minute. Some things are thought out way in advance. They call me up, and if I’m available and it sounds like a good idea, I’ll do it.”
“I’ve been away for a long time. I always like to say I want the current superstars to have all the television time, but if I can go out there and give someone a rub. Or if I can get out there in front of a crowd that is still around when I was still active who want to see me again, that’s a cool feeling too.”

Stone Cold Steve Austin then clarified that he is not coming back for a full-time stint, though. Only if he feels an angle to be relevant enough, he will take part in it and take it forward making special appearances,
“It’s just something that is happening. It’s not like I’m going to go back on the road full-time or anything. It’s some good opportunities. It makes sense TV-wise, business-wise. I’m there to lend a hand or help out as much as I can.”
There’s no update on when Stone Cold Steve Austin will show up next on WWE TV. But knowing that he will be available would allow the creative team to make according to plans for this legendary superstar. He is perhaps the most popular superstar to step foot in the WWE history, anyway. So his presence even in a non-wrestling capacity means a lot to the fans.
