WWE News: Roman Reigns To Receive A Huge Push Ahead Of Wrestlemania 36 1

WWE is trying to build the SmackDown brand around Roman Reigns ever since the show moved to FOX.

This was an expected move since the company wants the blue brand to become the prime brand from now onwards.

But the surprising thing is that they have not used the face of the brand in the title picture. Apparently, they have a strong reason behind this.

Did Roman Reigns family know about Leukemia?

For several years, WWE tried to feed the fans with Roman Reigns and get him over which appeared to be a failure.

So this hiatus from the main event scene was a calculated one as to make the fans forget about the past marquee matches.

Wrestling News reported that Vince McMahon still sees Roman Reigns as one of the top Superstars and this could put him in line for a big push around WrestleMania,

“The feeling on Reigns is that he’s gone long enough without being shoved in the fan’s face and that he is no longer seeing the fan backlash that Seth Rollins is getting right now or the backlash that John Cena was getting for most of his babyface run.” (courtesy ringsidenews.com)

Roman Reigns is the protected franchise player of the WWE ever since stepping his foot in the company. He has always been the guy whom the company can depend upon, every single night.

Be it the negative reactions that he gets, every single night, he is definitely The Guy to digest it, day-in and day-out. So, quite expectedly, this is his yard, no matter what.

Also, it is an interesting thing to note that The Big Dog has been in more marquee matches in his five-year career in the WWE.

He’s been in the ring with names like Triple H, AJ Styles, The Undertaker, John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton and more to sell out PPV events more than anybody from his contemporaries.

This is an indication of more such big matches to come in the near future for him.

Wrestlemania 36 is approaching closer and the belief is that Roman Reigns may have gone back to the prime babyface spot, again.

The feud with King Corbin is considered as a “placeholder” which may lead him towards another main event at the biggest event of the year.
