Roman Reigns is up for a huge challenge at the upcoming pay-per-view show as his battle with the McMahons continues. This time around, it will be the younger McMahon who will compete in the first-ever singles competition against the former Universal Champion. After last night’s WWE Raw the match between Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon is official for WWE Super ShowDown.

WWE Faced Backlash After Sending Roman Reigns To Smackdown
The wild card rule was in full effect on WWE Raw as multiple Smackdown superstars made their presence felt. Roman Reigns was one of them to appear on the show who could not say anything as Shane McMahon interrupted. He reminded Reigns of the beef ongoing between them ever since A Superman Punch landed on his father, Vince McMahon. So it may be time to get a payback.
Roman Reigns could barely wait for a match against Shane McMahon and invited him to come down to the ring. Shane initially teased the same by pretending that the match was going down on WWE Raw. But then he backed off and announced yet another marquee match for WWE Super ShowDown. Later, WWE.com confirmed the matchup for the June 7th PPV show,
“What happens when your yard falls smack dab in the middle of someone else’s Universe? You dig in and fight to hold your ground, much like Roman Reigns will look to do when he takes on Shane McMahon at WWE Super ShowDown in Jeddah.
Will Reigns protect his yard and exact the retaliation against Shane that he has been craving for months? Or will Shane-O-Mac prove that regardless of who holds claim to the yard, that it’s on his property? Tune in when WWE Super ShowDown goes down on Friday, June 7, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.”
The rivalry between Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon will continue in weeks to come as per the current schedule. On tonight’s Smackdown, the Big Dog has to face Elias in a rematch from Money in the Bank. Shane will be in the corner of the musical man hinting that he will be waiting to pounce on Reigns, at any moment. No doubt, WWE will be looking forward to reinforcing this feud as we approach towards Super ShowDown.
