During the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were scheduled to take on Natalya and Tegan Nox in a tag team match. However, that match never took place on the actual show due to what transpired heading into it.
WWE carried out an angle where they showed that a brawl broke out earlier in the night featuring these four women superstars. Ronda Rousey ended up hurting her arm and as a result of this, the tag team match was then changed to a singles contest where Shayna took on Tegan. Baszler submitted Tegan with an arm submission to pick up the win and continue the momentums in her favor.

During the match, Ronda Rousey’s arm was in a sling as she came out to be in the corner of Baszler. This genuinely raised curiosity among the WWE Universe about the status of the top superstar. With Wrestlemania 39 less than a month away in the schedule, there are concerns about her competing in a match at the Show of Shows.
Ringside News reached out to confirm Ronda Rousey’s current status and they were able to confirm the previous report that she will be okay to wrestle by WrestleMania. A tenured member of the creative team informed the source that they were told, “Ronda aggravated an old injury and would be fine for Mania.” However, it was not confirmed what kind of injury The Baddest Woman of the Planet is dealing with.

Ronda Rousey to get healed in time for Wrestlemania 39
The good thing is that Ronda Rousey is expected to heal in time for WrestleMania 39, where she and Baszler are scheduled to go after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, currently held by Lita and Becky Lynch. This is supposed to be a marquee match from the women’s division of the WWE and if recent reports are indications then the match is safe to be proceeded with despite the injury scare.
As noted above, there’re no details available regarding what kind of injury Ronda Rousey is dealing with or the severity of it. We can only assume this is an issue with her shoulder or elbow which is likely to heal in quick time. Following a short hiatus, the former Smackdown Women’s Champion returned after Elimination Chamber and she’s laser-focused on gaining the women’s tag titles.
