Ronda Rousey is a force to be reckoned with in the WWE. Coming from the MMA world, she transitioned into the world of professional wrestling quite easily. She is the former longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion and a two-time Smackdown Women’s Champion since making her WWE in-ring debut in 2018. After proving her potential as a singles competitor, now it may be time for her to feature in the tag team division.
As seen in recent times, Ronda Rousey has joined forces with real-life friend Shayna Baszler to showcase their dominant heel side with the intention of ruling the entire women’s division on Friday nights with an iron fist. The ongoing pairing has also started speculations about whether the duo will be going after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

During a recent live stream on her YouTube channel, Ronda Rousey discussed the topic and gave a positive nod toward it. A fan directly asked her if winning the tag team belts alongside Baszler is on her checklist.
In response, The Baddest Woman On The Planet stated the following to admit that she’d be happy to have a tag title run,
“Yes. I’m happy just to have a tag title. I don’t need a singles title. A tag run would be fun. I mean, both is cool. I’ve been doing singles for so long, I’m ready to change it up. That’s another thing, too, people forget I only have a year-and-a-half of in-ring experience.”

Ronda Rousey has had quite the career in WWE
Ronda Rousey debuted in WWE in-ring competition in 2018 at WrestleMania 34. She only competed for a year during her first stint and wrapped up things at WrestleMania 35 as she took a time off to start a family. The inaugural UFC Bantamweight Champion and her husband Travis Browne welcomed their first daughter in October 2021.
Three months after becoming a mother, Ronda Rousey made her surprise return to WWE TV during the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match in January. After entering the match in the 28th spot, she eliminated four other women to be the last woman standing in the ring to emerge as the winner. Then she proceeded to challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown women’s title at WrestleMania 38 but came up short.
Moving on, Ronda Rousey eventually defeated Flair at WrestleMania Backlash in an I Quit match to secure her first SmackDown title win. Later, she dropped the title to Liv Morgan as the latter cashed in her Money in the Bank contract. However, she was able to regain the title by defeating Morgan in an Extreme Rules match at the Extreme Rules premium live event to become a two-time SmackDown Women’s champion.
