As expected, four more participants from the WWE Smackdown roster male division has been announced for Royal Rumble 2022. Last night’s SmackDown saw Sami Zayn announcing his spot for The Rumble. He will be participating in the match in order to eliminate Jackass star Johnny Knoxville with whom, he has been feuding for a few weeks now.
Last week, Johnny threw him over the top rope in an attempt to prove that he is able to pull off shockers in Royal Rumble 2022. Then on Smackdown, Sami Zayn declared his entry into the Men’s Rumble Match and said that anything Johnny Knoxville can do, he can do it in a better way. Eventually, WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs came out and took out Sami.

Over on Smackdown, Kofi Kingston also declared his spot for the Men’s Royal Rumble 2022 match but also confirmed that King Xavier Woods will not be participating in the match since he’s been dealing with an injury. Woods picked up that injury during a tag team title math street fight against The Usos.

Also, Madcap Moss and Happy Baron Corbin announced their Rumble spots as they interrupted Kingston’s promo. Moss then defeated Kingston in singles action after Corbin declared that he vows to eliminate Kingston from the Rumble match.
With that, 16 open spots are available for the Men’s Royal Rumble 2022 match. The updated list of announced participants from the men’s roster goes as follows: Zayn, Kingston, Moss, Corbin, Austin Theory, Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Sheamus, WWE United States Champion Damian Priest, AJ Styles, Big E, and Johnny Knoxville of Jackass.
