This past week’s Raw main event featured Bobby Lashley colliding with Braun Strowman in a mega battle. But the fight appeared to be completely one-sided as The All-Mighty secured a quick pinfall win after a Spinebuster followed by a Spear. Now, he is set to challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship, next week. The challenger already sent a message to the champion by hitting him with a Spear, after the match.
The assumption is that Bobby Lashley countered become the new WWE Champion, this week given the momentums he has by his side. But WWE could have backup plans for a first-ever matchup as WrestleMania is right around the corner. It seems that Brock Lesnar could still be appearing for the Show of Shows in some capacity and it could turn out to be for a huge battle.

WWFOldSchool reports that if WWE officials could still go ahead with the decision of bringing back Brock Lesnar on TV. If that happens then they don’t want to bring him back in a losing capacity. (In that case, a rematch with Drew McIntyre gets ruled out). Also, Lesnar lost two back-to-back WrestleMania title matches, so WWE needs him to put over in a big way.

Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley finally happening?
This brings Bobby Lashley into the context as he is the most protected guy on the Raw locker room over the past few months. Plus, he’s been very much vocal about getting that particular match against the former Universal Champion, before wrapping up his career. In fact, this match was the very same reason he signed with the WWE, back in 2018.
The source adds that there have been discussions of finally culminating the long-awaited Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley “Dream Match” at WrestleMania 37. This makes sense as the latter one is having the hottest run of his career with The Hurt Business members by his side.
The seeds for the upcoming mega match were also planted on this past week’s RAW when the commentators mentioned, “Bobby Lashley can beat anybody in a one-on-one match” but the question remains “Who can beat Lashley?”. During the After The Bell podcast, the host Corey Graves gave the answer stating the name of Brock Lesnar and thereby teasing the match, again.
WWE officials have also noted backstage that they don’t want to ‘miss out’ on this match. This seems to be the perfect time to do so, as Bobby Lashley is 44 years old while Lesnar is 43. Afterward, they might not live up to the expectations from this bout.
