Ronda Rousey is done with her WWE career for good following Summerslam in August and there was a big reason for her departure. If rumors were to go by then she was considering going back to her home in the octagon for one final stint. Reports even supported the theory before the UFC president wiped out those chances.

The Daily Mail claimed that a source close to Ronda Rousey told them that she is “looking to wind down her time and commitments with WWE” so that she could focus on an MMA return. It was also noted that the former WWE Women’s Champion reportedly wanted to “compete at UFC 300 when that presents itself sometime next year.”

Why Ronda Rousey Was The True Women’s Evolution In The WWE?

While noting that Ronda Rousey is expecting another baby with husband Travis Browney, she was also considering options from Hollywood, per the source,

“Don’t be caught off guard that she is having another kid because that is something she feels is one of the most important things to happen for her again.”

Dana White denied rumors of Ronda Rousey’s UFC return in 2024

Responding to these reports, Dana White was seen speaking to Aaron Bronsteter of TSN Sports. The UFC President was quick to shut down the possibility of the UFC Hall of Famer coming back for one more stint and he also advised fans to not believe anything from the earlier report,

“Stop reading the Daily Mail, everything that they write is a crock of s*** Ronda’s having kids! Ronda built this whole thing that’s going on with the women here, then her dream was to go to the WWE, she went there and did everything that she did there and achieved, she’s made s******** of money. She’s moved on with her life.”

According to PWInsider, Ronda Rousey is currently working on her second memoir which is her first project since exiting the WWE. The memoir, set to be titled ‘Our Fight’, will be published by Hachette Book Group in Spring 2024. Previously, she released a book called ‘My Fight Your Fight’ in May 2015.

That being said, Ronda Rousey’s incredible UFC record should stay 12-2. Apart from being the first-ever female champion in the company, she was also the first-ever female inductee in the UFC Hall of Fame back in 2018.
