Sanga is a decade-long professional wrestler from India
Sanga started his pro-wrestling career back In December 2011 as he took part in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s India project, Ring Ka King. He performed under the ring name of Deadly Danda, a member of Jeff Jarrett’s heel stable RDX alongside Abyss, Scott Steiner, Nick Aldis, and Sonjay Dutt.
On 14 January 2018, he signed a contract with WWE and went ahead with the name Saurav Gurjar. He made his NXT debut at a live event at Orlando teaming with Rinku Singh in a loss to Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan. That team with Rinku Singh (now known as Veer Mahaan from WWE Raw) used to be Indus Sher on NXT.
Managed by Robert Strauss, the team failed to make an impression during their stint on NXT. In 2021, Rinku was called up to WWE’s main roster, aligning with Jinder Mahal on the Raw brand under the name Veer Mahaan which marked the end of Indus Sher. On the 18 January 2022 episode of NXT, Saurav, was repackaged as Sanga, a bodyguard of Grayson Waller.
