Ever since Saraya entered the world of All Elite Wrestling during AEW Grand Slam in September, fans have been concerned about her in-ring status. With the likes of Bryan Danielson and WWE Hall of Famer Edge coming back from similar neck injuries like her, fans were confused about whether her in-ring return will happen or not. It started doing the rounds on social media after getting fueled up by the former WWE Superstar herself.
After a failed attempt to get into a conversation with Britt Baker, last week, Saraya said that she would address her in-ring clearance this week on Dynamite. She screamed “AEW is my house,” during the confrontation with Britt which led to anger for the latter. Britt reminded the world of her contributions to the AEW Women’s division.

In reply, Saraya said that Britt is only a star after getting handed everything on a silver platter by Tony Khan, while she started forming revolutions when women’s wrestling wasn’t even popular. She also talked about overcoming drug addictions and giving her neck for the business before confirming the match against Britt at Full Gear,
“I’ve done MSG, O2, and Tokyo Dome, and now I’m in front of an ungrateful b—h. You don’t know what it takes to sacrifice. I’ve been publicly humiliated by millions of people. I battled my drug addiction publicly. I’ve given my career and my neck to this business. This is the biggest match of your career. You versus Me at Full Gear.”

Saraya last wrestled in a match as Paige in WWE in December 2017 at a live event in New York. After suffering a neck concussion in that match, she was forced to announce her retirement from competition in April 2018. After going through a number of surgeries in the past, the youngest WWE Divas Champion will finally be able to do what she loves to do and that’s wrestling in the ring.
