Saraya had a career as a trailblazer in the WWE that lasted for multiple years. Winning both the championships available for female superstars back in her time, she remained on the top for a few years before her in-ring WWE career suddenly came to an end thanks to a neck injury.
WWE allowed Saraya to keep herself engaged in numerous roles before not renewing her contract and thus allowing her to be a free agent in the market. She then came to AEW to become a regular feature on TV since day one and perhaps the biggest star of the women’s division. She doesn’t possess any hard feelings with the WWE who just wants the pro wrestling circuit to grow like never before with cross-brand appearances being a possibility.

While her focus in AEW has been to get over the rustiness inside the squared circle for the time being, Saraya has also been eyeing some of the top-tier talents around the circuit who she was unable to dance in the ring in the past. Obviously, AEW can offer plenty of them but that doesn’t mean that the former Paige isn’t keeping her eye on wrestlers outside the company.
Recently, Saraya took to Twitter to say, “I wanna see @thetayavalkyrie in @aew.” Namedropping the former WWE Superstar, she wanted Tony Khan to know that the insertion of this talent could further strengthen the female roster of the WWE. Valkyrie is certainly a veteran talent given that she’s the experience of working in promotions like WWE, Impact Wrestling, and AAA.

Valkyrie previously faced Saraya’s mother in the UK
Valkyrie has been a regular feature on the Impact Wrestling roster and she responded on Twitter saying, “ilysm.” Given that AEW and Impact Wrestling has had a working relationship in the past with talents appearing on each other’s shows, we can certainly expect Valkyrie to appear on Dynamite. The question is whether Khan is interested in signing the one-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion.
Valkyrie and Saraya never had the opportunity to wrestle in a match but Valkyrie competed against the former Divas Champion’s mother, Saraya Knight back in 2018. The latter picked up the win in that match that took place at the Blackcraft Spirits Of The Dead event. Afterward, Valkyrie admitted in the past that, she would have love to work in the AEW given how many quality talents are present in the company.
