It’s been months since Saraya arrived at All Elite Wrestling promotion after deciding not to renew her deal with the WWE in 2022 summer. Since then a lot happened including her announcement of medical clearance in a wrestling capacity as well as her return to in-ring competition at the AEW Full Gear PPV event.

Ever since her TV return on AEW Dynamite, Saraya has been involved in a heated rivalry with Dr. Britt Baker. After securing the win at Full Gear, the two have decided to extend the rivalry by announcing a tag team match that will take place in January when AEW conducts a weekly Dynamite from the Los Angeles market for the first time.

Saraya Won’t Say “Yes Or No” Around Sasha Banks Joining AEW Rumors 1

A couple of weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Britt Baker urged Saraya to find a mystery tag team partner as she challenged her to a tag team match on the mentioned January 11th episode. Since then, the fans are speculating about who could possibly be teaming up with the anti-diva.

In the meantime, news broke that top professional wrestlers Sasha Banks has parted ways with the WWE and she’s expected to be at the Wrestle Kingdom. The rumor mill also suggests that The Legit Boss could make a stop in AEW on her way to Japan to assist the former Paige in her second-only match following her miraculous return from injury.

Saraya eager to work with Sasha Banks in any capacity

During a recent interview with Forbes, Saraya addressed those speculations and fueled things up even more with the following comments,

“I feel like anytime there’s a mystery, everyone always goes straight for Mercedes (Sasha Banks). They’re like—straight away—it’s her! There’s plenty of women out there, I’m not going to say yes or no to anybody, but there’s a lot of exciting prospects for a potential tag partner.”

Saraya added that she’s always wanted to wrestle Sasha Banks in any capacity given such a gifted talent that she is. They also had a backstory as Sasha was the one to kick her in the back, leading her to the neck concussion during a 2017 live event that eventually forced her to go into retirement.

The former WWE Divas Champion never blamed Sasha for the mishap but at the same time, she just can’t wait to wrestle her in a full-length match in any capacity. Now that the Boston native is reportedly gone from WWE, we believe this match could become a reality, down the road.
