Technically, Sasha Banks is still with the WWE but insider reports have confirmed that she had cut ties with the company. As much as it sounds strange, one of the most successful female talents in the history of the WWE is no more with them owing to a creative dispute. Recent reports claimed that she’s been quietly released.
Moving on, Sasha Banks is expected to go by her real name, Mercedes Varnado who may take her time to enter the professional wrestling ring. She isn’t accepting any bookings or offers after her WWE exit as reports claim that the former top superstars want to wait until the beginning of 2023 before doing so.

Sasha Banks’ asking price was $30,000 for one particular booking. One of the promoters didn’t have any problem offering the payment since it was “exactly as expected.” The report added that the former women’s tag champ decided on the terms of her release from WWE and it keeps her asking price, this high,
“It was mentioned that she’s one of the most “just off TV” talent they’ve been quoted a price for and it was comparable to Sting. The only talent they told us were more expensive were Ric Flair, Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, and Hulk Hogan. That same promoter said they were more than happy to book her at that rate, and they know they’d make their money back on it.”
Sasha Banks is a globally acclaimed name and it appears that her booking price is similar to that of the likes of the professional wrestling legends Ric Flair, Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, and Hulk Hogan.
It was back in May when Back in May, WWE suspended The Boss and Naomi for walking out of RAW. They were also stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championships and those titles are still vacant. In late June, the reports of both these superstars possibly getting out of the company came out.
