Sasha Banks was unhappy with how the company was treating her as a talent despite being a champion. Frustrations about Vince McMahon’s booking of the WWE women’s tag team division grew over time and it eventually led to her walking out on the company during the May 16, 2022 episode of Raw. Her tag partner Naomi also accompanied her during that walkout and since then they’d not been traced on TV.
Now, the news is that Sasha Banks is heading to Japan. As per the recent reports, The Legit Boss will attend the Wrestle Kingdom 17 event in Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2023. If that’s how things happen then it will be her first appearance for a wrestling promotion other than WWE in a long time. Also, there are speculations about her eventually landing on the AEW roster.

Sasha Banks is happy to be involved in non-wrestling projects outside the WWE
Since news broke that the multi-time women’s champion is done with the WWE and might be appearing at Wrestle Kingdom, rumors are running rampant about her making a stop in AEW alongside NJPW. Meanwhile, the star herself is happy to have an alternate career in movies.
WWE Superstars Bayley and Sasha Banks appeared on an Instagram Live session and the latter was excited about her first-time movie filming experience.
“Insane how full circle that is, to get a first movie and to know that it’s in Boston. It came at a weird point where I was right in the middle of training in Mexico, so I kind of had to choose what days I needed to give up for that. To go back and forth between Boston and Mexico was such an incredible experience that I can say that I did it, I accomplished that, and it’s cool.”
Sasha Banks recently had a supporting role in Disney+ The Mandalorian series as Koska Reeves and she’s expected to reprise the role in the second season that’s coming out. Plus, The Legit Boss then discussed her upcoming makeup line set to be released in 2023. She noted during the conversation that tutorials are coming along with the kit and she needs to ensure that things fall in order when it comes out,
“I’m trying to slow down because I do too much. A makeup line is coming. A makeup brand is coming, tutorials are coming. I’m doing so much, especially the last [month] of 2022, December, I have a couple more weeks to get everything in order before the new year. I’m just working.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling Headlines)
