Ever since Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out in the middle of Raw back in May, their pro-wrestling career came to a halt. We have heard a lot of chatters over what their next move could be but no outside appearance in a wrestling capacity or a WWE return has happened since then. Going by the current updates, chances are pretty less that the return will happen.

It appears that Sasha Banks is likely done with the WWE even at a time when Triple H has taken over the charges from Vince McMahon. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that after analyzing the current situation, it’s safe to say that the former women’s champion is done with WWE.

Meltzer would go on to say that things could change but for the time being, Sasha Banks is legit done with the company,

“She’s not going back to WWE, but you cannot always rule that out. Maybe they’ll just say ‘She’s more trouble than she’s worth. She’s asking for so much money.’ Which is, of course, the attitude a month ago of ‘Oh my god how can she ask for so much money?’ January 4th Tokyo Dome and other dates, and Mercedes Vernado or whatever name she will go with, but as of right now – she’s done with WWE.”

Sasha Banks is possibly heading to Japan

Previous reports claimed that Sasha Banks is set to attend the Wrestle Kingdom 17 event in Tokyo Dome on January 4th, 2023. This should be her first appearance for a wrestling promotion in months. While nothing is clear about her being under a deal with the WWE, many do believe that The Boss might be leaving the company for good.

The former Wrestlemania main-eventer is almost going to do it in Japan as she teased the idea of wrestling former WWE star Kairi Sane in STARDOM, a company that is also operated by NJPW owners. The marquee status for the female superstar comes after she headlined Wrestlemania 37 Night One with Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title.
