WWE Raw star and the current WWE United States champion Seth Rollins who is a former four times WWE World Champion recently talked about the owner of WWE Vince McMahon and expressed his love for the former chairman of the promotion.
WWE brought Seth Rollins from the Ring Of Honor where he was already quite a big star as he held the ROH World Championship one time. At first he worked on the NXT which was the development Territory of WWE and he had been the inaugural NXT champion. He was pretty impressive from the very first day of joining WWE.
Seth Rollins Expressed His Love For Vince McMahon
During his early days in the main roster run of WWE, he started working as a member of the shield and he was pretty successful as a member of the Shield. Just like all the Shield members he was destined to be a big star of the future. He was the first Shield member to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
With time he became one of the biggest one of the biggest WWE star. He won the WWE World Championship four times in total, apart from that he won the WWE Money in the Bank and also the Royal Rumble match. Currently he is holding the WWE United States Championship. We are pretty sure that he has a lot of World Championship runs left.
Seth Rollins who is a former four times WWE World Champion recently spoke to BT Sport where he talked about the owner of WWE Vince McMahon and expressed his love for the former chairman of the promotion. He said;
“I couldn’t believe it. It was just one of those things you’ll never forget. We were in the airport. We were heading out to a live event. We were flying out on a Friday. The thing went out at like 3 o’clock central or 4:00 pm Eastern roughly.
“So, I got the text. I was coming through security line, I got the text, ‘Check your app for a note from the chairman or whatever. Sure enough, he was retired. I was just like — Becky [Lynch] was with Roux down looking up at a statue of a deer at the airport in Iowa, and she was looking at the statue and she saw my face from a distance.
“She said, ‘What’s wrong?’ I’m like, ‘Did you get the text?’ She’s like, ‘No, what?’ I just had her look at it, and she’s like, ‘Oh my god. What, what? Is that, is that it?’ I think both of us were just like, ‘What?’”
