Yesterday was Mother’s Day which was celebrated all over the world and it was no different to Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. The two WWE Superstars welcomed baby Roux, together into the world, last December. So, this year had to be indeed special for the couple who shared their first Mother’s Day as parents.

While baby Roux is yet to show her face in public, Seth Rollins uploaded a cute photo of Becky Lynch and her to Instagram. He also included a touching caption to say how lucky he is that his daughter gets to call WWE’s The MAN as her mother,

“So very lucky my daughter gets to call you Mom.
Happy (first) Mother’s Day to you…
And to anyone out there who has ever held the title, us non-moms are not worthy. Thank you for raising us, teaching us, and believing in us no matter what.”

Becky Lynch is on a maternity hiatus

This is not the first time that The Messiah took time to post a sweet photo of her fiancée and baby. After dating Becky Lynch for more than a year, the pregnancy news was highlighted on Raw during the post-Money in the Bank episode of 2020. Asuka was the winner of the Women’s MITB Ladder match who also won the title from Lynch, thereafter.

Since then, we haven’t seen Becky Lynch on WWE TV who is in the middle of a maternity hiatus. There have been a number of rumors regarding the comeback but it’s yet to be materialized. The MAN herself posted a couple of photos on Instagram during Wrestlemania 37 weekend hinting that a return could be imminent but that wasn’t the case. The Bella Twins instead gave proxy for her in a segment reserved with the former Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley.

Now there’s some good news as Ringside News has reported that WWE inked a new deal with Becky Lynch. They were told that this was done “quietly,” a few weeks ago. This news was also posted on the occasion of Mother’s Day. That being said, it’s only a matter of time that former Raw Women’s Champion makes her WWE return. It’s just a matter of when and where.
