Professional wrestling legend and two times WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels who is also a former four times WWE World champion recently talked about his experience of working with John Cena and said that it was more of a dream to work with him.

The dream feud between Shawn Michaels and John Cena took place in the year 2007 for the first time in professional wrestling history. John Cena was a rising star who is turning out to be the biggest face of WWE during the time. All the big names of the previous eras were a pushing him to be the ultimate star.

Shawn Michaels Explains How He Is Sees The Experience Of Working With John Cena

After winning the WWE Championship in 2005, there were multiple wrestlers who pushed John Cena to be a top star of the promotion. The first wrestler he got the push from was the JBL whom he defeated at WrestleMania 21 to win the WWE Championship. It was his first WWE title win.

Next up he got pushes from the likes of Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle after winning the WWE title. At WrestleMania 22 he got one of the biggest pushes ever when he went on to face Triple H to defend his WWE title. He defeated Triple H to cement his Legacy as one of the biggest star of WWE during the time.

The next big push he was scheduled to receive was from another than the Showstopper himself, Shawn Michaels. The match between this epic duo took place at WrestleMania 23 where John Cena received the ultimate push of beating Michaels on the main event of Grandest Stage of them all.

Shawn Michaels who is also a former four times WWE World champion recently spoke on WWE’s The Bump where he talked about his experience of working with John Cena and said that it was more of a dream to work with him. He said;

“The hardest thing is, like, ‘Geez man, we just did 13 days over here. This is the end of the tour and John and I had to go an hour. No, look, there is no better guy to do it with than John, honestly, and I’ll say this — it sounds strange, but because, you know, it’s not a full hour and you feel like in your mind,” continued Michaels.

“Even though you’re not dealing with commercial breaks, it’s not, it was really easy. John is, is such a dream to work with, John and I got along very well. It was a fantastic night and I had a chemistry with John that was darn near effortless … It was absolutely a piece of cake because you know, it was just a lot of fun.”
