Smackdown

Last night’s Smackdown Live was over with an interesting confrontation between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

The dream match is happening in this year’s Wrestlemania. So, the fans could not have asked for a better ending of the show that these two building up some momentums in their favor.

The WWE Champion got the upper hand by teasing a Phenomenal Forearm on his opponent which never happened.

There was a lot in-store once the taping was over for Smackdown Live.

A huge dark match was in-store that featured the Apex Predator of the WWE. He competed in a six-man tag team action with another champion team by his side. Here are the results from the match, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)

“The dark main event after this week’s WWE 205 Live in Nashville saw WWE United States Champion Randy Orton and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeat Aiden English, Rusev and Baron Corbin in six-man action.”

This was not the only dark match for the fans in attendance at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. There was women’s division contest, as well.

Former women’s Champion Naomi squared off in a singles competition against the leader of the Riott Squad.

Despite the presence of Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, Naomi pinned Ruby Riott in a match that lasted for nearly ten minutes.

In the Smackdown fallout show, we spotted ace tennis star, John Isner.

Isner attended the go-home edition of the show for Wrestlemania 34 and had a chitchat with WWE host, Renee Young. He admitted that he’s always been a huge fan of WWE programming.

Furthermore, he also gave some of his own predictions for the lineups in store on this Sunday Night.

Also, Rusev was seen giving an interview on the show. He seemed quite happy to pick up a win prior to Wrestlemania. He is getting back the momentums by his side while gunning for the title that was represented by him, once.

It might be coming back home at the grandest stage of them all.

Furthermore, Rusev might bring his giant tank at New Orleans for his entrance.
