It’s no secret that Natalya is that one particular superstar who has been enjoying the longest journey in her career, thus far. No other professional wrestling athlete, female has stretched her career, this much, and the records she’s been setting will be tough for her successors to catch up with. Recently, during a conversation, she revealed the reason that she considers to be the number one reason behind her lengthy timespan with the promotion.

For those who don’t remember, Natalya ended up signing with the WWE in 2007. After spending time in WWE’s developmental territory, The Queen of Harts was called-up to WWE’s main roster in 2008 and has since been a regular fixture on TV which is quite an achievement. But if that’s not counted then she has several other records to her name, including the most matches and victories by any woman in WWE history.

Currently, she is in her 16th year with the WWE, and interviewer Chris Van Vliet of Insight was happy to ask the former Divas Champion about the secret of a successful and lengthy career.

“They’re on a table several times a week. I’m on a table four times a week. I work with an active-release therapist. I work with an adrenal specialist. I work with a massage therapist. I work with a professional stretcher who stretches people in the NFL. I’m religious about my vitamins. I’m religious about my diet,” Natalya responded.

And we’re turning on the news and we’re racing to get from one place to the next. But I never take it for granted how hard it was to get here. How hard it is to stay here, and how hard it is to have competed across so many different generations of these [women’s eras.]” (quotes courtesy Sescoops)
