Big E won the Men’s Money In The Bank 2021 contract which gives him an opportunity to have a championship match opportunity. He’s scheduled to successfully cash it in to become a World Champion for the first time ever in the WWE. The time and place of this title match will be determined by him, down the road. That being said, the question is when he’s likely to do it.

Plus, there are speculations among the fans as they wonder who might become the victim of Big E when the MITB contract cash-in happens. According to the Wrestling Observer’s reports, Roman Reigns is scheduled to enter WrestleMania 38 as the Universal Champion. So, it makes sense that the future cash-in should take place on Bobby Lashley who will drop the WWE Championship to the former New Day member.

There’s also a possibility that Roman Reigns can still lose the title and win it back before WrestleMania 38 but a short title reign for Big E might not be ideal for his career. He’s one of the brightest stars of the company who should have time to establish his legacy. So, cashing in on Lashley makes more sense, especially with the storyline that Lashley absolutely dominated E’s New Day brother Kofi Kingston at Money In The Bank 2021.

Big E to cash-in MITB contract on Lashley

Here’s the report provided by the source which indicates that E should be the one to end Lashley’s title reign following Summerslam,

“Given that he has to win, that leaves right now either Reigns or Lashley. The problem is with Reigns scheduled right now as champion for Mania, yes, they can do a quick switch, but in that scenario, yes, Big E gets his pop and ‘You deserve it’ chants, but a short-term face first title win isn’t a good thing either.”

At present, Bobby Lashley is done with a successful title defense against Goldberg at Summerslam 2021. Since this match marks the end of Goldberg’s obligations with WWE for this year, it’s likely that the former WCW franchise player won’t end the All-Mighty’s title reign. Big E is likely to arrive on Raw via WWE Draft scheduled after Summerslam 2021 after which the cash-in will take place as he would begin his first world title reign.
