WWE Draft keeps things afresh on the roster for the past several years but there has been a gap in the process as it was dodged, last year. But it appears that WWE has a lot of plans on the plate that includes the superstar shakeup process, down the road. Besides, some championship plans are also on the card that should be executed.

Going by the current updates, the WWE Draft 2023 is approaching closer and it should make a huge change in the landscape of the company. WWE is yet to confirm anything regarding this but it’s reportedly planned after Wrestlemania 39 and it should also bring back the two top titles for two separate brands on the main roster after more than a year.

WWE Draft may split up the world titles

Also with this WWE Draft, the top Officials of the company also want to go back to having two Men’s World Champions, one for Raw and one for Smackdown. No confirmation was provided by the source whether the two existing world titles will be split. Previously, a new Raw Women’s Championship was speculated to be introduced on the red brand but there’s no update, either about it.

Spoiler On WWE Draft 2023 Date Following Wrestlemania 39 Season 2

The last time WWE had two Men’s World Champions was at WrestleMania 38. On that night, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to unify the Universal Championship and the WWE Championship and become the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion. Since then there’s been only one champion and there was no need of splitting the rosters, anyway.

Previously, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also noted that the next WWE Draft plans call for a return after WrestleMania 39 following a date cancellation date in October,

“There’s been some talk of waiting until after WrestleMania to do it. There was talk at one point for October, but I guess they didn’t do it. There was a date that was talked about at one point, but they just didn’t pull the trigger on it.”
