Stephanie McMahon used to be WWE Diva in terms of an old school programming of the company. They’d do everything on TV except for some real wrestling inside the squared circle. Showing off was a necessity back then as WWE aired non-PG contents with nudity and exposures being random things on TV.
Being the daughter of Vince McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon did get some additional privileges but she was humiliated or forced just like other female roster members, back then. She had to kiss quite a few names even after being in a relationship with Triple H, on and off-screen. One of those happened during an angle with Kurt Angle.

The then mainstream star had quite the resume while making his WWE debut as he was already an Olympic gold medalist in freestyle wrestling. His background helped him to go into the main event scene in no time. Later, he also won the WWF Championship within the completion of his first year in the company.
While discussing his meteoric rise after making his debut, Angle recalled his storyline with Stephanie McMahon with Broken Skulls Sessions w/ Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Around SummerSlam 2000, Angle involved in a feud with Triple H for the WWE Championship that obviously had Stephanie McMahon in a pivotal role. A love angle developed between Angle and Steph. The also featuring Triple H had a backstage segment where Angle and Stephanie had to kiss with Vince McMahon directing the scene.

The 2017 Hall of Famer recalled the awkwardness of having Vince standing in the back as she was kissing a laid down Stephanie McMahon on a sofa,
“No improvisation. That was Vince and I’ll tell you – this is what’s crazy. I go in to do it, Vince is directing it, so he’s in there sitting three feet away. So, what am I supposed to do? We rehearsed, I said, ‘You can be here’. He’s like ‘Yeah, it’s alright. I’m going to direct it,'” recalled Angle.
“So, when I go in and I kiss her, I’m like, ‘Close your mouth, close your mouth, close your mouth, make sure your mouth is closed’. So, I kiss her and I did it for a long time and when I get done – we’re done with the pre-tapes – Stephanie, says, ‘You kiss like a damn fish!’ I said, ‘What do you want me to do? Your dad’s right here! I’m not going to open my mouth and kiss you for real!’ Having Vince McMahon three feet away and I’m kissing his daughter, I thought I better keep my mouth shut and kiss her hard and she thought I was a horrible kisser. But Vince being there was pretty scary.”
At the end of the day, the multi-time world champion would be known as someone who had the opportunity to get a taste of the lips of the Billion Dollar Princess in WWE. Apart from Angle and Triple H, the likes of Chris Jericho, Rikishi, Randy Orton and Eric Bischoff also had the opportunity to kiss Stephanie McMahon on WWE TV.
