WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin finally expressed his opinion on the recent Endeavor deal of WWE and said that he was not shocked at all by it. WWE was up for sell for more than a year and it was rumoured since last year.

A lot of big names got involved in this potential takeover including the likes of NBC and even a potential Saudi takeover. There were mixed reactions following these rumours. At one point, even Elon Musk was rumoured for this huge takeover. But nothing could be confirmed as news finally broke.

Steve Austin Speaks Out: The Texas Rattlesnake’s Opinion on WWE’s Endeavor Deal, “I Wasn’t Shocked At All”

WWE was finally taken over by the Endeavor group who is also the parent company of the famous MMA promotion UFC as well. WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin recently appeared on the SI Media Podcast where he gave his opinion on this huge deal. Here is what “The Rattlesnake” had to say;

“I wasn’t shocked at all. It had been in the grapevine, and it happened, and it kind of made sense. UFC did it, so why not WWE?” said the WWE Hall of Famer and former six times WWE World Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Steve Austin Is Not Shocked With The Endeavor Takeover Of WWE

“Triple H went out and cut that promo saying they’re not going anywhere, meaning the people that are running WWE. I think it needs to come from a wrestling-minded family type thing, or those key players. That’s a tricky business.

“Not everybody with a television background walks into the wrestling industry or the sports industry and can produce great results. So you keep the people running it that do because they know their fanbase as well as anybody.”

A lot of rumours started to spread all over the world of pro wrestling after this deal. Fans were expecting to see some incomings from the UFC inside the WWE roster. There were some intimidation of some releases as well. Some minor budget cut is already rumoured for July 1. Let us hope for the best.
