Summerslam 2022 received the latest match on the card after what transpired on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. It was announced by the WWE that The Mysterios (Dominik and Rey Mysterio) will face The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) in a No DQ match at this Saturday’s annual event.
Rey Mysterio celebrated his 20th WWE anniversary during the go-home Summerslam 2022 edition of Raw at the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York City. Mysterio named some of his favorite opponents and thanked his peers, family, and fans for helping him to excel in his wrestling career. Eventually, The Judgment Day faction came out and surrounded him.

The Mysterios (Dominik and Rey Mysterio) defeated The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) in a tag team matchup. Rey got the pinfall win after hitting Balor with a 619 followed by the top rope Frogsplash.
Afterward, the anniversary celebration for Rey Mysterio continued eyeing the setup for the Summerslam 2022 matchup. A party was held for the legendary superstar at the backstage area where his daughter Aalyah Mysterio gave him his original WCW Halloween Havoc 1997 gear But Judgment Day again crashed in the party. Rhea Ripley returned from injury during this segment and Aalyah got in her face only to be shoved off by Rhea.

Ripley then grabbed Dominik by the hair and dragged him out of the room while Balor and Priest put Rey through a table with a powerbomb. The officials came out to stop the brawl after which WWE confirmed the above-mentioned tag team match for Summerslam 2022. Given the No-DQ stipulation added to the match, Ripley could make interferences in favor of Judgment Day.
