Summerslam 2022: Two Injured WWE Superstars Scheduled To Appear At August PLE

WWE Summerslam 2022 will be offering a packed card to us while the expectations are that at least a few surprise appearances could also be there. The booking has to be tremendous to satisfy the almost 50k fans to be present at the outdoor stadium. Now there has been an update about two injured superstars to be present at the annual show which should please the WWE Universe to a big extent.

According to an exclusive report from PWInsider, Bayley is scheduled to be in Nashville, that’s the host city of the SummerSlam 2022 weekend. She’s been out of action for almost one year due to an injury that she picked up last year prior to Money ln The Bank 2022. There’s no update that whether she’s actually set to make her return to TV.

“For those who have asked about the status of Bayley and when she’s slated to return to WWE programming, PWInsider.com has learned she is scheduled to be in Nashville for Summerslam weekend. Bayley has been out of action since last summer after tearing her ACL while working out in the WWE Performance Center to prepare for the company’s return to live crowds in the post-Thunderdome era.”

Summerslam 2022: Two Mainstream Athletes Coming To WWE Tryouts

Bayley had suffered a torn ACL while training at the WWE Performance Center, last July for a title match scheduled against Bianca Belair. Initially, the timeline for return was assumed to stand at nine months. That being said, SummerSlam 2022 could be a perfect place for her to make a return.

Her last televised match took place on WWE SmackDown in June 2021. It was a mixed tag match with Seth Rollins where the pair defeated Bianca Belair and Cesaro (now AEW star Claudio Castagnoli).

Alongside Bayley, Big E will also be in Nashville for the SummerSlam 2022 weekend. It has been noted by the source that he will be making his first public appearance with the WWE since suffering a major injury on SmackDown on March 11. Big E will reportedly be working for the scheduled July 27-29 tryout to be conducted in. Some of the graduated college athletes will attend the program.
