ToggleWWE has a lot of plans to execute when it comes to Summerslam 2023. Not even a singles match for the second biggest premium live event of the year has been announced but it’s safe to say that they have all the lineups set for this show and of course, the storylines eyeing this matchup have also begun on the weekly programming of Raw and Smackdown.
Previous reports already confirmed that they already have six matches planned for Summerslam 2023, and now more spoilers are out regarding two more matches, suggesting that a total of eight matches will go down at the biggest event of the summer.
Summerslam 2023: No World Championship Match Planned For WWE PLE?
Ringside News previously confirmed that Logan Paul vs. Ricochet will be going down at SummerSlam 2023. The storyline build for the match has already begun with Paul being invited to Raw, this week. They will most probably agree to compete in the match after delivering some crazy stunts at Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank, earlier this year.
Women’s World Title Match set for Summerslam
Besides, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez is also planned for Summerslam 2023 which might just prove to be a banger with the Women’s World Championship hanging in the balance between the two behemoths.
Raquel Rodriguez is one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Liv Morgan. Hence, booking Raquel in a title match at the biggest summer PLE may just force Morgan to sit out of action. For the time being, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title could be neglected or they just simply could be defended on weekly WWE programming.
