Following a successful outing with the Money in the Bank international edition from the United Kingdom, WWE will now be looking forward to Summerslam 2023 edition. This next stop for the WWE will mark its comeback to its familiar USA territory after three straight premium live events outside the USA region.
Summerslam 2023 will go down on Saturday, August 5 at the Detroit Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Top matches for the PLE have already been revealed in a report from Dave Meltzer at Wrestling Observer Radio. The likes of Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso, Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler, and Drew McIntyre vs. Gunther are no-brainers after what transpired at Money in the Bank 2023.

In addition, it’s been revealed by Meltzer that the top six matches at Summerslam 2023 include Logan Paul. Despite all the negative reactions from the WWE Universe, the celebrity YouTuber managed to impress the WWE Officials with his in-ring skills and he will continue to be booked in future matches.
Logan Paul to compete at Summerslam 2023
Meltzer revealed that Logan Paul is slated to have an “in-ring showcase” at SummerSlam 2023. There’s no update on who his opponent is going to be. But reports from Wrestling Observer Radio also suggested that LA Knight could potentially be slotted into that role. But as of this writing, Knight is not currently planned to compete in a match against Logan.
Excluding the top matches, there will be more slots available on the Summerslam 2023 card these could possibly be filled by World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Hall of Famer Edge, and the World Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens who are likely to feature in separate matches against separate opponents. However, no indications were given regarding the matches in store for these names.
