ToggleSeth Rollins is one of the top babyface players of the WWE Raw brand and he should be included in the Summerslam 2023 card. Being the reigning world heavyweight champion on the red brand, the belief is that WWE will set up his next title defense for the upcoming premium live event in a marquee match capacity.
According to the previous reports from Xero News, Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship was being discussed for the Biggest Event of the Summer. Becky Lynch Was Able “To Overcome That Level Of Depression” In Postpartum WWE Days
Judgment Day leader Finn Balor was unable to defeat Seth Rollins for the world heavyweight title at the WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. But going by the current ongoing in the WWE, it’s clear that the first-ever Universal Champion isn’t done with Seth Rollins, just yet.
Summerslam 2023: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor rematch coming
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the plan for SummerSlam 2023 calls for Seth Rollins and Finn Balor to square off against each other in a rematch from the latest bygone PLE,
“Finn is wrestling Seth, that’s for SummerSlam. Finn’s being protected right now. Finn’s beating everyone because they’ve got to get Finn back ready for Seth. I do know that the plan was that Finn’s going over (winning) constantly because they’ve got to rehab him for Seth because that’s at SummerSlam.”
Seth Rollins having a feud with Judgment Day on Raw
Being The Visionary of WWE, Seth Rollins has done a lot for the business since his debut in the company more than a decade ago. After being booked as a strong champion, it’s now time for him to put over up-and-emerging talents and Judgment Day might be standing in the front row. All the members are currently feuding with the top Superstar keeping the options open for a world title match at Summerslam 2023.
As of this writing, no official match for Summerslam 2023 has been announced but reports suggest that at least eight matches are being planned for the Biggest Event of the Summer. Predictably, Roman Reigns is the likely headliner as he will defend his undisputed WWE universal title against Jey Uso.
