Things have been heating up between Logan Paul and Ricochet heading into Summerslam 2023, over the past few weeks. While the two have already been involved in physical confrontations in the recent past, things were made personal by Logan as he dragged his current rival’s fiancée into the situation.
During the opening segment of Monday Night Raw’s July 31 episode at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, Logan Paul addressed the Texas crowd but he was quickly interrupted by his SummerSlam 2023 opponent, Ricochet who was out to acknowledge Logan’s athletic abilities but also expressed his belief that Logan was a horrible human being.

Logan Paul name-dropped Samantha Irvin on Raw
As the promo exchanges continued, things became intense when Logan Paul made a personal insult, targeting Ricochet’s real-life fiancée and Raw ring announcer, Samantha Irvin who was sitting at ringside. Paul taunted her by saying after he defeats Ricochet at SummerSlam 2023, Irvin would have to announce him as the winner.
The addition of Samantha Irvin in this Summerslam 2023 feud would certainly add an extra dimension and she could also be a part of the match that will unfold, this Saturday night. An irate Ricochet did target Logan after Irvin was dragged into the context to ensue a brawl between the two of them. Unlike last week, Logan stood tall over Ricochet by the end and also captured him in a downed state for further teasing.
This Summerslam 2023 feud originally began at the Royal Rumble of this year after the two shared a high-flying spot in the ring. Then at Money in the Bank, these two had a backstage brawl to indicate that a one-on-one encounter is in store for the duo. Besides, WWE perhaps wants Logan to be back on the winning track via this matchup against the former United States Champion.
